I just realized the house I'm moving into has a fireplace. This shall perhaps remedy the rainy and cold problem at times :)
Oh come on, girl. You now live in Washington. Didn't anyone tell you about the summer weather in Washington? You have to get out and do stuff on those kinds of days because if you didn't, you wouldn't do anything at all, except maybe cozy-up in front of a fireplace. Just wait until fall and winter gets here, you will learn to appreciate out cold and rainy summers.

hey babe! It is cold and rainy in conrad too... i miss summer a lot! how is school been going?
It's cold in Iowa too -- yesterday morning we had lots of rain, but the sun did come out in the afternoon. I guess today was sunny too (not that I was able to notice from my office:-()but the temps are cool for this time of year -- only in the mid to upper 60's. When I left for my walk this morning it was down to 46 -- good weather to snuggle into my sweatshirt!!

oh, and it's been abnormally cold and rainy in toronto lately, too.
