there's a rock...

...in my stomach. I'm feeling lonely, bored, and depressed, and the fact that I'm leaving for 6 1/2 weeks is not helping. I'm scared. Anybody want to come to Lynden with me to keep me company?

All the best, dear. At least it's only 6 1/2 weeks, right? And I bet once you know people there you'll never want to leave.

Wet Washington. Or maybe not. I forgot if Lynden is on the east or the west side of the state.

Sorry, I can't come. It's for religious reasons.

Ironically, I live 20mins north of lynden... so coming would be rather easy. I found your blog through my cousins blog and something on your profile compelled me to voice my question. "Interests: figuring out my faith" So have you figured out your faith yet? I mean, I wish I could have my faith all figured out... it would be easier... but then again it probably wouldn't be as fulfilling. Sure there would be less wrestling and struggling, but who wants a God that you could understand and predict and put in a box? He wouldn't be God anymore then... not the God I know. So here's to a faith that will never be fully worked out until we meet our Maker face to face!

ps. Mt Baker is awesome... If you ski/board I definatly recomend it.
pss. I definatly reccomned visiting Canada while you're up here. Tonnes to see and do and you've got a 15 minuite drive from ocean to mountain top in Vancouver. What could beat that?
